FOP Email Server UPDATE

FOP email should be working now, but you may need to tweak your settings.

In Outlook, please verify these settings carefully:

Account type: POP3
Incoming Mail Server: email.fop.net
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: email.fop.net (unless ISP requires its own SMTP server)
Username: [full FOP email address]
Password: [your password]

In your Outlook account settings, click More Settings, and on the Outgoing Server tab, check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.”

In your Outlook account settings, click More Settings, and on the Advanced tab, check "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" and set the SMTP Port to 587.

The settings for iPhones and Androids are essentially the same as above, but you may have to select Security option = SSL (accept all certificates).

In certain situations, these settings will have to be modified, so if you still have trouble, please send email to it@fop.net with any specific errors you receive.
